4th AMA Arenacross Sweep for Team Babbitt’s
3/01/2010In another dominating performance, the members of Team Babbitt’s took their fourth sweep of the podium this year. Tyler Bowers won AMA Arenacross Round 8, held February 27 in Fresno, California.
Bowers and his teammates took the lead soon after the start of race. Chad Johnson took second place and Josh Demuth grabbed third place. The victory was Bowers’ seventh of the season, and Babbitt’s’ team members have won all but one of the season’s 12 races to date.
The three riders continue to hold the top spots in the series’ overall standings. Bowers is first with 256 points, followed by Demuth with 239 points and Johnson with 235.
Scott Perkins, sales representative for Maxxis’ Specialty Division, is elated by the team’s string of victories and podiums. “The Babbitt’s guys keep proving that Maxxcross tires are the best choice for Arenacross conditions. We’re proud to support them and can’t wait to see how they finish out the season,” he said.
