UHC-Maxxis’ Menzies 3rd at Elk Grove
8/02/2010Karl Menzies rode his Cormet tires to the podium at Elk Grove, taking third place overall. The Tour of Elk Grove was held July 30 – August 1 in Illinois.
A strong fourth place performance at the time trial, combined a day later with third place and the resulting five-second time bonus, gave Menzies the overall lead. He took fifth place in the final stage, supported by UHC-Maxxis’ customary all-out effort on behalf of a team member.
